In a quiet little town, there was a mischievous boy named Russ Halsey. Russ, or Russell Halsey, was always finding himself in all sorts of trouble at school.

One clear and cheerful morning, Russ decided to trick his classmates. He sneaked a fake spider into the teacher’s cabinet. When Miss Green, the cheerful and caring teacher, pulled out the drawer, she gasped in surprise, making the whole class laugh out loud.

On a different day, Russ decided to bring his pet frog to school. He revealed it to his friends at recess, and everyone was thrilled. They named the frog Hopper.
